Chruścik - domkowiec.

        The larvae of some of the numerous species of caddisflies are able to build themselves a shelter. For this they use hollow sticks, or glue together bits of material available at the place of residence. Some of them attach the house permanently to the bottom of the body of water. Others, meanwhile, build a structure with which they can move. Fish feeding on such larvae often devour them along with these houses. Hence, in the digestive tracts of trout and grayling grains of sand and gravel, sometimes tiny shells.
Let's try to make this popular and effective lure, called "case caddis" in English, among our fly fishermen it usually functions as a "cottage lure".




   1. W bezbarwnej koszulce termokurczliwej umieszczam koraliki ceramiczne.

   2. Zgrzewanm rurkę, przycinam. W ten sposób uzyskuję główkę i pierwsze dwa segmenty tułowia larwy.

   3.Nicią przywiązuję tułów do haczyka o przedłużonym trzonku.

   4. Ze sterówki lub lotki ( tutaj użyłem sterówki bażanta złocistego) odrywam sześć promieni. Przywiązuję je do haczyka po obustronach tułowia. Tak uwiązane promienie dobrze imitują odnóża owada zakończone charakterystycznymi "pazurkami".

   5.Na trzonek haczyka nakładam zwoje lamety ołowianej.

   6.Imitację domku można wykonać z różnych materiałów. Tutaj zastosowałem  pstrokaty chenille, który dobrze naśladuje domek wykonany z drobinek żwirku i piasku.

 7. Nawijam chenille w kierunku grotu, przewiązuję mocnymi zwojami bezbarwnej nici. Zaklejam węzeł.

  8. Gotowe "domkowce".
